Latina Equal Pay Day National Summit

Have you heard of the pay gap? The pay gap is how underpaid women are compared to white men. For women of color, the gap varies. So for example, Native American women are paid .42 less per every dollar a white man makes. Latinas are in last place making .46 less.

Since Latinas make significantly less, it takes us much longer to make up the lost wages. This year because the gap actually got bigger, not smaller, it took us an extra 18 days to make up the lost wages.

If you think that’s ridiculous like we do, join leaders, advocates and influencers across the nation who are pledging to take action as champions of gender parity – not only for Latina Equal Pay Day but for every day.

You can join us at the Latina Equal Pay Day Summit in DC by registering here:

But don’t worry, if you can’t be in DC, you can participate by joining in on the national day of action with the hashtag #LatinaEqualPay and #DemandMore
